It would love it if there were support for automated and bulk file renaming. For instance after uploading a series of images with the same name (e.g, ArchiveName_Signature_1, ArchiveName_Signature_2, etc.) I might want to change the names of all the files at once, and have them end with sequential numbers.) Or, if one reorders images that are part of the same item (I’m not sure what to call the collections of images that share the same title and other metadata), it would be useful to be able to automatically rename the files so that their names end with sequential numbers.

Yes, definitely. I’ve made a note. Jack and I briefly discussed auto-pagination before, and we’ll make sure there’s compatibility for both page numbers and signature marks.
We’ve introduced auto-pagination in the latest release (v.0.3.1).
