- Release version 0.2.3
- Browser: Firefox 147.0.1 (aarch64)
- OS: macOS Tahoe 26.2
- Description of issue:
For items with a small number of images, I had not been noticing any problems when trying to re-order images.
But yesterday I tried, for the first time, to re-order images in an item that had 282 of them. The two images in question had been added at the bottom but needed to be moved near the top. After a long, scrolling drag and drop, the first image initially appeared in the location where I had dropped it. But after dragging and dropping the second image from bottom to top, or exiting the item and returning to it, the first image usually appeared back at its old location in the list, though occasionally somewhere else altogether (in one case, about 20 rows higher).
Oddly, when I checked the same item in Google Chrome, the two images in question already appeared in their desired location near the top of the list.
- Steps to reproduce
The problem is easy to reproduce. All I need do is open that item in my Firefox browser, drag and drop any image in the list, then either drag and drop another image or exit the item and re-enter it.
- Additional info
After checking the item in Chrome and noticing that the images were in their correct order there, when I returned to Firefox and reloaded the item, the two images were in their desired place in Firefox too. The key here seems to be refreshing the page in Firefox; then images appear in the order into which they were re-arranged. But without a page refresh, if you either exit and re-enter the item or move some other image in it, any previously-moved images revert to their original position, i.e. appear not to have moved.
