Dragging Files from "All items" to "Lists" or "Sub-lists"

Hello,
I have been having a great experience with Leo so far. Thank you for such a useful tool! I am curious about its file organization capabilities, specifically whether it allows users to drag files from “All Items” into “List,” which functions like a folder. Additionally, does Leo support creating sublists or subfolders?

For example, I recently uploaded multiple PDF files for transcription into “All Items,” and I wanted to reorganize them into different lists or folders. I attempted to use the “Select All” option, but couldn’t find a way to drag the files or locate any action button to move them.

If this functionality is not currently available, I believe adding it would significantly enhance Leo’s file management and organization capabilities.

Hey Mathew! Yes, you can create sublists. Just hover over a list, click “…”, and you’ll the option in the dropdown. As for drag and drop functionality to add items to lists, we’ve been working on this and it’s almost ready. We’re just doing some final testing then we’ll be able to release, probably at the beginning of next week.

Thanks so much for your response—I figured out the sublist feature! I am also looking forward to the addition of the drag-and-drop functionality.

Quick question:
I am unsure if this is the right channel to ask, but I have been having trouble uploading PDFs larger than 50 MB. Even a 14 MB version of a similar file would not upload. I am wondering if the issue might be related to OCR scanning. For context, I used CamScanner to create the PDFs, which automatically converts images into PDF format. Could that be causing the upload issue?

Thanks again for your help!

Ah I see. I don’t think this is to do with the file size limit as for PDFs, this applies to every individual image rather than the whole PDF. I think the issue you’re experiencing here is due to the fact that Leo automatically extracts images from PDF and will ignore any text. So if you converted a bunch of images into text then it won’t pick that up. If you still want to transcribe them then you might be able to find other tools online to convert those PDFs back into images again.
