An idea for another feature you could add is that when you upload the images to LEO, there is no way to preview the images for mass transcription, so unless you know each image by the file name you don’t know which images to deselect (I am working with several hundred images at a time so perhaps this would not be widely a huge improvement), but I’m thinking about the Mac interface where you can press space on a file and see what is in the file you have selected. A potential issue with this would be that things are selected or not selected and so that could be confusing and so another way to tackle this as a feature if you wanted to add it, would be to make a preview on one half of the screen next to the list of files.
Here is a picture of how the Mac interface looks when looking at lists.
That’s a very good idea! Do you think a selection interface similar (or the same) to the thumbnail selection on the “Export” modal would well for this purpose? If so we could repurpose that and roll this out pretty quickly.
Yes, I think that would work very well! It would just be helpful so that you can double check the things you are uploading and select or deselect when you are in that stage of sorting the documents and not have to go back in later/double check the previews on your desktop before you upload or transcribe.
