Variation in Ink & Quality

When a book cover had machine printed text and handwritten text Leo didn’t recognize/transcribe the handwritten text. It only attempted to transcribe the more visible machine text. When an image had two very different types or qualities of writing (e.g., ink and pencil) Leo only transcribed the better of the two (ink).

If text too faded or on part of a page that was severely damaged Leo was unable to transcribe it. Leo did not recognize or transcribe watermarks.
