The software really struggled with abbreviations. For some of the abbreviations, the software expanded the abbreviation of names and tended to get them very wrong. I would actually prefer the software not to expand the abbreviation at all (for example, Arch. was expanded at times to something like archbishop or archdiocese rather than Archibald, which was what it was.) Especially when working with scots, guessing on the meaning of an abbreviation usually results in the software getting it wrong.

Yes, this makes sense. We’re going to introduce an option to allow the option to toggle whether they want Leo to automatically expand abbreviations or not.
I’ve been to ask about that as well. Abbreviation expansion really doesn’t work in languages other than English, and significantly degrades the result. It’s one of the reasons I sometimes opt for the Gemini model.
