I’ve noticed that my number of remaining credits does not automatically update and sometimes makes mistakes (such as my number of available credits going up after I have uploaded and transcribed images). Not a major issue as can manually refresh, but would be a welcome update! Also wondering if there is an easy way to find out how many remaining credits I have as currently this information doesn’t seem to be displayed in user profile.
Thanks for reporting this. I’m not sure what’s going on here exactly. Could you talk us through the issue in more detail? Is it possible that you are checking the remaining credits count before a batch of transcriptions has completed?
Hi Jon, the issue is arising in the confirm transcription screen. So it’s before the transcription has started, but that wouldn’t explain why my number of credits appears to be going up.

I had the same thing happen - I was uploading all my documents at once, and the number of “credits remaining” would jump all over the place - sometimes after I would upload a document the number would go up instead of down - I think it cut me off eventually so internally it must have been still keeping track accurately, but until then it would tell me numbers that didn’t seem to reflect my uploads

I also can’t see how many credits I have used already, which would be useful information to have accessible in the user profile. And the amount of remaining credits does not change at all in my user profile, it’s always at 100 monthly/1000 lifetime credits.

I’m seeing similar issues. I think it’s not updating the number of credits that are queued to be spent while the transcription of an already-uploaded document is still going while I’m uploading and queuing up the transcription for a next document, if that makes sense.

Actually now that I’ve tried it a bit more, the credits remaining do seem to just jump around randomly. I had some 700 lifetime credits remaining after my last upload, and with the new one a few minutes later it went up to about 750.

I have had the same experience–credits remaining jumping around randomly.
This should be fixed in the latest release (version 0.1.8). If you continue to experience any issues with this please let us know.
