For transcibing books like city records and such it would be really nice if Leo could be set up to reflect the marginalia structure of the page that is being transcribed. That would open up a lot of avenues for making publication of transcribed material from the 18th century easier. It would need to be able to be exported to word however.

Yes! We are planning an option for transcript output where text is displayed on the page in the same spatial arrangement as in the original manuscript. Good to know that this would be helpful for you.
