Ease of Use: First impression are that the organisation is quite good, but it can be difficult to work out at what stage you are at and a credit ticker on the home page could make it easier to keep track of your transcription amount.
-
Accuracy & Performance: Leo is excellent. I have demonstrated it to an academic and and an archivist, both of whom were impressed with the capability of the software.
-
Search & Organization:
It’s easy once you get the hang of it, but I think on the wider market, the website will need a redesign to make sure people are not lost.
-
Feature Requests: A credit ticker on the home screen and possibly a downloadable app in the long term.
-
Reliability & Bugs: basically reliable but I am keen to test it out on more interesting questions of whether it would transcribe plaques and grave stones.
-
Pricing & Value: I think it will only be worthwhile if it was made available for institutions and libraries. Financially, it’s hard to see it being used on a private basis for the current price.

Overall Impressions. This is a game changer and as someone with a disability, for the first time in my life, I can now imagine conducting primary research entirely on my own, so thank you.
