A few thoughts for improving the search functionality:

  1. It would be nice if there were an option to have search terms highlighted in document view.

  2. It would be great to be able to easily save a search as a list. Even better would be a “smart list” feature, like “smart albums” for photos. You would be able to specify complex search criteria (ideally being able to discretely target transcripts, metadata, and annotations) and the list would contain everything that matches, automatically updating as documents are revised or new items are added.

  3. It would be very useful to be able to search within specific lists or collections. Right now it seems like one has to search everything in one’s account.

  4. I think it would be useful to have metadata or tags associated with individual images, distinct from the metadata that a collection of images shares.
