I’m not sure if this is more widespread, but on this letter the transcription was perfect until the signoff- it wrote “Yours Truly, H.H. Stephens” rather than “I am very sincerely yours” Phillippo.

A bit concerning for me since Stephens is one of my other frequent authors

Thanks for this Ksenia. Could you include the relevant part of the image of the manuscript in your screenshot? It’ll be easier to see what’s going on then.
I see now! It’s very odd that it would transcribe that as Stephens. Is he mentioned anywhere else in that particular image…?
