Sometimes when I’m uploading multiple images at once into one item, I get a little popup that says ‘Forbidden Resource’. Sometimes that upload just disappears rather than appearing on my workspace.
I’m in v0.1.0; macOS Monterey 12.7.6; using Safari 17.6.
Thanks both for reporting this! We’re looking into it and we’ll let you know once it’s resolved. If you gather any more details about when this tends to happen please post here (the more details the better)
When I submit bulk jobs (more than 10 images at a time), I frequently get a “Forbidden resource” message. This will sometimes freeze my entire browser, and on occasion, the transcription job will be canceled but my account is still charged the credits.
I also faced this issue when I attempted to bulk transcribe 231 images (total size 14.3MB), although I don’t have issues with the browser freezing (I am using Firefox version 136.0.4). In my case, the “Forbidden Resource” notification repeatedly popped up at the bottom of the page multiple times a second, which may be why it causes browser issues?
I haven’t gone through all 231 images yet, but they do thankfully seem to have been transcribed in spite of the error.
For me, the error appeared when I happened to exceed my “monthly” credits and instead dipped into my “lifetime” credits, so perhaps this is related?
This should now be addressed by our new release (v0.1.3) – it was due to rate-limiting by one of our providers related to authentication which we’ve now fixed. Let us know if you continue to see any behaviour like this. Thanks all for helping us reproduce and fix this one!
