“Request failed with status code 500” what is strange is that most of the images did upload and I was able to work through some transcriptions but then when I tried to export them I wasn’t able to, even after refreshing the page, exiting and retrying/etc. This happened on Chrome.
Hi Beshouy! This error message could be due to a blip in the network connection. We’ll add a quick retry upload button so this doesn’t disrupt your workflow. As for not being able to export your documents, could you send me a link to the document in question so we can debug this?
Hi Jon! Thank you - here is the document:

I was trying to troubleshoot this so I re-uploaded it and unwittingly spent the remainder of my credits starting over… sorry for the trouble and thank you for your help
Hello Beshouy, I had a similar issue with uploading over the weekend, but everything works fine now. I have been able to upload and transcribe PDF and HEIC files. You could try again.
Thank you but alas still no luck, will try again tomorrow or Friday
I’ve topped your account up with 200 extra lifetime credits so you can transcribe the images again in an exportable format, though you may want to wait before using them with these images until the issue is resolved. We’re looking into it as a priority and will post here again when the issue has identified and fixed. Thanks for reporting!
Just to follow up on this. I often find that when I upload a batch of images it will get stuck on the final image at 99% upload, and either produce a ‘network failed’ message or ‘status code 500’ message. Using the ‘retry’ button fixes this in most instances, but it does seem to routinely happen that it fails to upload one image per batch. Not a major problem, but thought I would raise it.
Very helpful. Thank you Mark!
