When I am editing/correcting transcriptions, Leo sometimes autocorrects (i.e. undoes) the changes I make. An example would be a case where I was changing the name Alice to Alce, as the latter is what appears in the original, and Leo would reinsert the ‘i’ after I had tried to change it. I’m not sure if I noticed this every time it happened - is it possible to turn this function off? Especially when using 16th and 17th century documents, correcting the transcription to match the original spelling often provokes this autocorrect. If you re-change it, it then accepts the change, but it would be helpful to turn it off.
Hi Mark. You’re not the first person to mention this. It’s a setting on the operating system, rather than something deliberately implemented by Leo:
But this is helpful feedback. I looked into it a little and I think we can deactivate autocorrect from the textbox, so we’ll do this. Thanks!
