Hi, I have a few QOL suggestions I wanted to write in while I remember them!
The first two are related. When I’ve uploaded multiple files at once, I’ve noticed that they often enter Leo jumbled - my file labeled 1r is after 6v, stuff like that, out of alphabetic order and the order they appear in Leo’s “add new images” queue. If that could be fixed, that would be a big timesaver.
On a similar note, I think it would be great if within a document, we could select multiple images to move them around. When my document is uploaded with images 6v-9r in front of images 1r-6r, I don’t see a way to select multiple images and move them to the correct spot. That would really help save some time.
The final suggestion has to do with when you’re manually editing a transcription. When the “updating suggestion” notification pops up and my work is autosaved, it moves where your cursor is in the transcription, which has led to a some serious typos when I’m editing. As a result I haven’t been editing too much within Leo itself.
Hope these suggestions are helpful! Really appreciating the chance to experiment with this software
Thanks for this Josh. Could I clarify whether this is an older or very recent problem? Leo 0.1.0 was supposed to resolve the first problem that you describe, so that images should match the order that they are uploaded (in your folder, and in the “add new images” list). Are you seeing something different in the present version? We’ve noted the suggestion for multi-image reordering though it’s not a priority for now—first we’ll focus on the core issue of images uploading in the wrong order.
As for the final suggestion, we’ve prioritised this as an urgent fix. Thank you!
Got it, thanks Josh! We’re overhauling the image uploading logic in the next release and this will likely be resolved then but let us know if not. We’ll post here once that’s released
@Josh_Anthony We’ve now released the overhauled image uploading logic (v0.1.3) and hopefully this should address the image ordering issue you’re seeing, but please let us know if not!
