Is there a way to set the spelling you are wanting for the transcription (i.e. UK English) and then train the programme to mark non-standard/historical spellings with ‘[sic]’? For example, in a diary entry I just read the author spells ‘unfavorable’ without a ‘u’ so if I was transcribing by hand, I would have transcribed it as ‘unfavorable [sic]’ - and indeed have made that edit myself, but it would save time not to have to go through and add this in.

This could potentially be an advanced option for customising transcription output! We’re not making this an immediate priority for now. Perhaps you are already doing it but if not, to speed things up, you could do is take the transcript output and use some kind of spelling checker, e.g. in Word, to identify which do not have standard spellings.
